Another Finished Book
I hope the last month has been wonderful for you. After a bit of difficult news and time to deal with life's issues, I managed to finish Spellbound. It's a continuation of the Pentagon Group story from my first series. I plan to release in November of 2016. In the meantime, if you're not familiar with this series, the first book is free on Smashwords, Kobo,iTunes, and Nook. It is available on Amazon for 99 cents. I've placed the other 2 books in the series at 99 cents on all platforms, so readers can get caught up. Unfortunately, I don't have a pre-order for Spellbound. If you liked the series, please let others know by leaving a review and telling your friends. If you've not yet left a review, I'd greatly appreciate it. If you have previously reviewed and want to be considered for a free Advanced Review Copy for review on Goodreads, Amazon, or other eRetailer, please sign up. If you've not left a review, but would like to receive a discounted coupon for Smashwords, please sign up. For another chance to obtain a copy of Spellbound, I have aGoodreads giveaway, so enter at the link.
Now that I'm finished with my writing and awaiting my editor's edits, I'm cleaning. I'm doing all the things that my focus wouldn't let me do. And I also plan on refinishing two pieces of furniture before it gets too cold in the garage to complete. I'm also decluttering a lot of stuff. I'm using the principles of Kon Mari. Essentially, I'm getting rid of things that don't bring me joy. So 3 columns of boxes from storage have been decluttered. I'm still deciding if I want to continue quilting. If I do, then I have to find a spot in the house to store the fabric. If not, I'm donating to the Linus Project. They make quilts for children in need. The majority of the things I get rid of go to donation of some sort. It's a belief I've held since I was 4-years-old when my mother and I were left homeless from a destructive fire. We had no clothes and no belongings. Through donations, my single mother and I were able to get back to normalcy.
I'm also plotting a new series. I will start the first book on November 1st, during NaNoWriMo. It's a way for authors to get off their duff and write a novel in 30 days. It doesn't mean that you write and publish right away, just finishing the concept within a first draft. I'm really excited about it. It will be BDSM suspense. One of the things I struggle with is the definition of Romance--which requires a Happily Ever After or a Happy For Now ending--for which I don't often think there is always either. It will have a solid ending though, so I hope it will be a tantalizing and thought provoking read.
Thanks for taking time out to read this newsletter. I hope you'll stick around for next month's. In the meantime, happy reading.
Sincerely,
Rosemary
